Map of the low-emission zone in Overath
Overath is not very large and the low-emission zone is even smaller. On the map it is shown with orange. Please note that the emissions sticker is also necessary on the B55 to drive through Overath. Because the town lies in a valley, it is not possible to bypass the low-emission zone.
The train station (A on the map) is still reachable without an emissions sticker, but only if you approach Overath from the northeast. The business park that lies here next to the A4 (not shown on the map) can also be reached. If you come from the southeast on the B484 however, the only way to reach either the station or the business park is through the low-emission zone.
Parking outside the low-emission zone
If you need to be in Overath but do not have an emissions sticker, you can park at the train station mentioned above and simply continue on foot. If you come from the direction of Siegburg southwest of Overath, the parking terrain at the REWE supermarket (B) is a good option. Overath is small enough to reach most destinations in a few minutes.

Overath is not a tourist destination. Nevertheless, the town has several old half-timbered houses and some beautiful churches to offer. The forested surroundings are worth exploring. Just outside Overath you can visit the ruins of Burg Großbernsau. Would you rather see a well preserved castle, then you’d better drive on to Schloß Ehreshoven just a bit to the east.
