Map of the low-emission zone in Offenbach
The low-emission zone of Offenbach is shown on the map above with orange. Its borders are formed by the river Main, the A661 and the A3, which makes it easy to determine whether you are driving inside the low-emission zone or not. Only in the east is the border of the zone formed by a zigzag line. The neighboring low-emission zone of Frankfurt is shown on the map with green. Because an emissions sticker is never required on German highways, you can still drive on the A661 in between the two low-emission zones without having to worry about receiving a fine. Only if you leave the highway and enter either low-emission zone, a sticker is required.
Parking outside the low-emission zone
Even though the low-emission zone of Offenbach is rather large, there are still a few possibilities to park outside the zone. This is useful if your car is not eligible for an emissions sticker. First of all, you could park somewhere inside the business park north of the Main (A on the map). Close to the Aldi supermarket, there is a large parking lot from where you can cross the bridge into the city center on foot. Another possibility is the station of Mühlheim (B), from where you can take the S-Bahn to the city center of Offenbach.
