Map of the low-emission zone in Hannover

map: Umweltzone in Hannover

On the map above the low-emission zone of Hannover is indicated with orange. As you can see, apart from the city center most residential areas lie within the zone too. The B3 and the B6 form the eastern, southern and western borders. On these roads themselves an emissions sticker is not yet required. Most industrial areas lie outside the zone. An emissions sticker is also not necessary if you want to reach the Messegelände Hannover. These largest exhibition grounds in the world lie south of the city along the A37 (not shown on the map). The airport north of Hannover is another destination outside the low-emission zone.

Parking outside the low-emission zone

If your vehicle is not eligible for an emissions sticker, you can still choose to park outside the city center and then continue on the Stadtbahn. While the P+R terrains listed below may seem far away, regular trains will take you to the city center in about 10 to 20 minutes. The numbers correspond to the markers on the map. We have also listed the number of parking spaces and the relevant line of the Stadtbahn.

  1. Wissenschaftspark: 300 parking spaces, line 4
  2. Paracelsusweg: 400 parking spaces, lines 3 en 7
  3. Nordhafen: 180 parking spaces, line 6
  4. Ehrhartstraße: 117 parking spaces, line 10
  5. Stöcken: 122 parking spaces, line 5
  6. Wettbergen: 111 parking spaces, lines 3 en 7

Please note that Hannover has more P+R terrains, but that most lie within the low-emission zone and cannot be reached without an emissions sticker.
