Low-emission zone in Wendlingen

On 2 February 2014, Wendlingen am Neckar just southeast of Stuttgart introduced a low-emission zone. To drive within this zone, a German emissions sticker is required. The low-emission zone of Wendlingen is shown on the map above with orange. As you can see, the entire residential area of the town lies within the zone. Because Wendlingen is not very large, the low-emission zone is also on the small side. Everything west of the railroad track is not part of the low-emission zone. An emissions sticker is also not required on the A8 south of Wendlingen or on the B313 on the other side of the Neckar. You only need an emissions sticker if you enter Wendlingen itself.

Do you want to visit Wendlingen, but do you not have an emissions sticker? Then it is easy enough to park anywhere west of the railroad track. From here (A on the map), you can use the bridge close to the station to walk to the center.

The green emissions sticker is required to drive within the low-emission zone of Wendlingen. If your vehicle does not have a sticker, or if you still have one of the older yellow or red stickers, you risk a fine of €100.

Wendlingen am Neckar is a small city with 15.000 inhabitants. As the name suggests already, it lies on the river Neckar.
